Privacy Policy for Surf Jam

 Privacy Policy for Surf Jam

Effective date: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Surf Jam ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you download and play the Game on your Apple device.

We designed Surf Jam to collect as little information as possible. The Game does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that directly identifies you.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

To make the Game work, the following information is saved only on your device (using Apple's standard app storage). It is never sent to us or to any server we operate.

Best moves and star ratings for each level: to show your records and unlock new levels and worlds.

Coin balance: to keep the coins you earn or buy.

Daily login reward date and streak: to give you the correct daily reward.

Number of rewarded ads watched today: to apply the daily limit for ad rewards.

Levels cleared since the last ad: to decide when to show the next full screen ad.

Whether you own No Ads: to turn off full screen ads right away when the Game starts.

This information stays on your device. If you delete the Game, this information is deleted too.

2. In-App Purchases

The Game offers optional in-app purchases (coin packs and No Ads). All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details, such as your credit card number or Apple Account password.

The Game only receives a confirmation from Apple that a purchase was made, so that it can deliver your coins or remove ads. For more information, please see Apple's Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Ads appear in two ways.

Full screen ads are shown after clearing a number of levels. These can be removed by purchasing No Ads.

Rewarded ads are ads you choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards, such as extra time, extra moves, or coins.

To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob may automatically collect certain information from your device, such as:

Device information, for example device model, operating system version, and language.

IP address and approximate location derived from it.

Advertising identifiers, such as the Identifier for Vendors and, only if you allow it, the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).

Ad interaction data, for example ads viewed or tapped.

Diagnostic and performance data, for example crash logs related to ads.

We do not control and do not receive the personal information collected by Google. Google uses this information according to its own policies:

Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Your choices about ads

Tracking permission: On iOS, apps must ask your permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. If you do not allow tracking, ads may still be shown but will be less personalized. You can change this at any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.

Personalized ads: You can limit personalized advertising in Settings, Privacy & Security, Apple Advertising.

Remove full screen ads: You can purchase No Ads in the in-game shop. Rewarded ads remain available only if you choose to watch them.

Consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland): Where required by law, the Game may ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require you to create an account or sign in.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.

We do not access your photos, camera, microphone, or precise location.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Children's Privacy

Surf Jam is a casual puzzle game suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Game data stored on your device remains there until you delete the Game.

To delete all game data, simply delete the Game from your device.

Purchase history is managed by Apple and can be viewed in your Apple Account settings.

Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies.

7. Security

Game data is stored using Apple's standard on-device storage and is protected by your device's built-in security features. Purchases are verified through Apple's StoreKit system.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to object to its use. Because we do not collect personal information on our own servers, most requests can be handled directly on your device, for example by deleting the Game or changing your privacy settings. For information collected by Google, please use the tools provided in Google's Privacy Policy. You may also contact us at any time using the details below.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
